Catching Up (Charlotte Family Photographer)

Oh my poor little blog.  So neglected.  So unloved.  Please forgive me for not taking better care of  you!
Photography season is in full swing now with warmer weather and pretty Carolina flowers.  I have been very busy shooting families, seniors, babies, headshots and charity events so I have not had the chance to post all...

Am I the right photographer for you?

Many of us remember taking the dreaded Myers-Briggs personality type tests either in school or when applying for a job.  Those endless and often repetitive, mind-numbing questions actually did serve a purpose.  We all have our own personality type and it drives most of the decisions we make in this life.
I have been attending tele-summits,...

Extended Family

I photographed 14 weddings last year and at least 100 families.  Add in newborns, maternity shoots, mini sessions, corporate events and a fashion book, and this girl had one big year!  I so appreciated all of the business you all provided to my company and my family.  So, it was very nice to take a...

Mary and Joseph traveled...

I have been sitting on these pictures since September.  This handsome family just so happens to be my minister and his crew and now that their Christmas card is out, it is safe to show them off!
Our church launched a satellite campus this year in Monroe and has been very active in reviving and helping...

A bundle of JOY!

A newborn shoot with a  Christmas theme, oh joy!  We had a good time dressing up this cutie in front of the tree this morning.  I can’t imagine Santa bringing this family anything more precious.  Only 7 weeks old, and little A has Mommy wrapped around her finger.

Christmas in Waxhaw- Day 2

Let me just press pause for a moment.  As the shopping lists grow longer and the holiday hustle and bustle begins, I need to stop for a moment and recognize someone very important in my life.
I still get a rush every time I pick up my camera and I KNOW I am doing exactly what...

Local Flavor

This couple makes me smile.  They are both true Southerners and I love their wit, hospitality and humor.  They own a large, local farm so some down-home backdrops were in order.  I think the barns and rusty old truck fit the bill perfectly.  Thanks for the chance to photograph your beautiful family this Christmas.  Y’all...
